I know a lot of people who have been affected by cancer and chances are you do too, I myself lost my Mother to cancer when I was 15 years old and it was heartbreaking to say the least. With the death of the much loved NASCAR announcer Steve Byrnes from this horrible disease, it became evident to me that much of the Jalop/Oppo universe feels strongly about cancer. What can we do as a community to aid the fight against cancer, well we can all donate to various charities, take part in our own fundraisers and I found out this morning that F1 fan favourite Jenson Button (who himself lost his father to cancer last year) is running the London Marathon this weekend to raise funds for Cancer Research UK and has set up a fundraising page.

Myself, my wife Jessica, and Brother in Law Andrew, are taking on the challenge of running the Virgin Money London Marathon this year.

My Trust, set up in 2010, was established to support a number of charitable causes and campaigns that are close to my heart with the intention of giving as much help to as many as possible.

Now in partnership with Cancer Research UK, my Trust aims to raise as much money as possible to help fund pioneering work to help accelerate research and beat cancer.

All of us at the Trust and Cancer Research UK believe that the more research we do, the sooner that day will come.

Please support our team today by donating to this very important cause.

I also have my annual triathlon event coming up on the 12th of July in Derby. It is a fantastic day suitable for amateurs and professionals and it will raise further funds for Cancer Research UK. To find out more go to: !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

Thank you,

Jenson

If you guys want to donate to help him reach his goal of £10k please feel free to donate, one day we’ll beat cancer together.

Thanks,

Leon
